Exploring the Unique Features of THE MOON BOY: What Sets It Apart?
A Game You Can Open Right Now
Moon Base runs as a Telegram Mini App — no install, no separate account. The core loop is simple and honest: tap the Reactor. Each tap costs 1 energy, credits 0.5 Moon Dust instantly, and adds to your score for the month. Energy regenerates over time, faster at higher tiers. The Reactor isn't just a button, either — it's a building you upgrade, and its look changes across four tiers as you level it.
A Seven-Building Economy With Actual Depth
Moon Dust feeds a base of seven buildings, each producing MD per hour, most gated behind another building's level. Solar Array and Reactor Core open the tree; the Regolith Extractor, Ice Harvester, Hydroponics Bay, and Orbital Relay unlock in a chain behind them; and at the end sits the Quantum Extractor — the only building priced in TMBX rather than Moon Dust, with a real on-ledger payment when you buy it.
The chain gives the game a genuine build order. Cost curves are geometric, so every purchase is a real decision, not a formality. And your base keeps producing while you're away — up to 8 hours, after which it waits for you to come back and collect.
The Monthly Pool: How TMBX Actually Flows
This is the feature that most sets Moon Base apart from the tap-game crowd, and it's worth understanding precisely. Nothing pays TMBX per tap. Instead, everything you do — taps, the daily streak, tasks, referrals — builds your monthly score. At month-end, a fixed pool of TMBX (833 to start, deliberately shrinking about 15% every three months) splits across every active player, proportional to their tier-weighted score share.
No inflated per-click promises, no fake numbers going up. A transparent pool, a known emission schedule, and your share of it earned by playing.
Tiers: Holding Grants Capability, Not Handouts
Your tier is set by how much TMBX you hold on a verified, linked XRPL wallet: Cadet at zero, Pilot at 250, Crew at 1,000, Captain at 5,000. Higher tiers get a bigger energy cap, faster regen, and a heavier weighting in the monthly pool — up to 3× energy, 2× regen, and 1.5× pool weight for Captains.
Note what tiers *don't* do: hand you tokens for holding tokens. They make your play more effective. You still have to play.
What's Coming: Vehicles and Genesis Agents
Two NFT collections are built and live on testnet — nothing has minted on mainnet yet, so treat these as coming, not current.
Vehicle NFTs will let you dispatch a vehicle on timed expeditions — 2, 4, or 8 hours — returning 50, 90, or 160 Moon Dust in cargo. Genesis Agent NFTs unlock a companion for your base: a small MD production boost you can direct, plus quick-reply chat. Focused, real mechanics — not a promised metaverse.
What It Adds Up To
Plenty of memecoins have a game "on the roadmap." THE MOON BOY has one you can open in Telegram today: a seven-building economy with real trade-offs, a token distribution you can actually reason about, tiers that reward holders with capability instead of handouts, and NFTs on deck with specific, already-built mechanics. That's the difference — everything listed here exists or is testably in progress, and you can check for yourself.
